DKIM record
The owner of the domain name being used for a DKIM signature is declaring that they are accountable for the message. This means that their reputation is at stake.
Receivers who successfully validate a signature can use information about the signer as part of a program to limit spam, spoofing, phishing, or other undesirable behavior, although the DKIM specification itself does not prescribe any specific actions by the recipient.
SPF record
Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a simple email validation system created to detect email spoofing by providing a mechanism to allow receiving mail exchangers to check that incoming mail from a domain comes from a host authorized by that domain administrators. The list of authorized sending hosts for a domain is published in the Domain Name System (DNS) records for that domain in the form of a specially formatted record. Email spam and phishing often use forged sender addresses, so publishing and checking SPF records is considered anti-spam techniques.
